Sgt. Maj. Barbaralien Banks, 41, of Harvey, Louisiana, died on April 6, 2005, in Ghazni, Afghanistan, in the crash of a CH-47 helicopter. Banks was assigned to the Division Artillery, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
