Sgt. Stephen C. High, 45, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, died on April 6, 2005, in Ghazni, Afghanistan, in the crash of a CH-47 helicopter. High was assigned to the Army National Guard's 228th Signal Brigade, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
