I just found out today that Travis had gotten killed. I am so very sorry. Travis' mother-in-law, Carmen, is my cousin. We were born just 1 week apart and even though I don't have the opportunity to see her very often, I love her very much along with her family. Amy's grandfather, my Uncle Bill, created a beautiful photo collage of Travis when he was in Afghanistan. I hope it gets posted somewhere for everyone to see. Travis and his entire family have mine and my family's respect, admiration, gratefulness and love. Without brave, unselfish men and women, the children of this country will never be safe.
All my prayers and love go out to the family of Travis. He was married to my cousin's daughter, and I wanted to let the family know how much I admire and respect the sacrifice they have made in the effort to fight against terrorism. Everyone in my family would like to commend the families of the proud men and women who are fighting for our freedom.
May God Bless us all!
