Pfc. Joseph J. Anzack, Jr., 20, of Torrance, California, was captured May 12, 2007, by enemy forces in Al Taqa, Iraq, when his unit was attacked by insurgents using automatic fire and explosives. His body was recently recovered in Iraq. Anzack was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.

I wish they would bring home our soldiers already. Bush is bushwacked!!! I graduated with Joe in 2005 from South High and please beleive he will be greatly missed!
Joseph was always a soldier and playful at heart. I had the pleasure of knowing him in high school and his smile and huge heart will never be forgotten.
