1st Lt. Brian N. Bradshaw, 24, of Steilacoom, Washington, died June 25, 2009, in Kheyl, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. 1st Lt. Bradshaw was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska.
