GuamSpc. Brian S. Leon Guerrero, 34, of Hagatna, Guam, died July 10, 2008, in Babo Kheyl, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device. Spc. Leon Guerrero was assigned to 1st Battalion, 294th Infantry Regiment, Guam Army National Guard, Barrigada, Guam.

Alex R. Jimenez

MassachusettsThe remains of Sgt. Alex R. Jimenez, 25, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, were recovered in Iraq on July 9, 2008, and positively identified on July 10. He part of a patrol that was ambushed by enemy forces south of Baghdad on May 12, 2007, and was subsequently listed as "Missing-Captured". Sgt. Jimenez was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York.

Byron J. Fouty

MichiganThe remains of Pfc. Byron J. Fouty, 19, of Waterford, Michigan, were recovered in Iraq on July 9, 2008, and positively identified on July 10. He part of a patrol that was ambushed by enemy forces south of Baghdad on May 12, 2007, and was subsequently listed as "Missing-Captured". Pfc. Fouty was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York.

Sgt. Bull was assigned to the Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
